Seven Segment Display
Here in this logic circuit, we will operate and display one digit numbers in a seven segment display using only the basic logic gates.
First, to construct the circuit for displaying one digit numbers on a seven segment display, we will follow the pattern displayed on a calculator for each of the numbers.
The seven segment display has the following pin configuration depending on the type you will use:
Using this diagram, we will now formulate the boolean equations for each of the segments that is for what number will they turn on. We will then tabulate a truth table and use K-mapping to formulate each equation.
